BSL (British Sign Language)

Whilst it shares many similarities with English, BSL also has many differences with regard to structure, word order and other features. For example, questions are normally formed in BSL with the question word being signed at the end, so “What is your name?” in English would become “name (you) what?” in BSL.

Sign language does not rely on signs alone. Visual cues such as facial expression are also important, as is position and movement around the body.

Here at Geo Language Services, we offer professional interpreting into and from BSL, making content accessible and engaging for those who prefer sign language for communication. We ensure that your message is inclusive, clear and respectful.
